these lil guys are for a swap bot swap, they're 'bout 3" tall. obviously my monkey making skills are far more advanced than my monkey clothing skills. heehee.

my true science geek shows...

i lucked into getting a 5th grade science teacher for a swapbot fabric postcard swap... so naturally i ran and stole a 5th grade science book... i was pretty dead set on making a cell diagram... i'm pretty happy with how it turned out. :)

Instead of hanging out with the other girls at the all girls scooter rally we went here instead. a bunch of small shrines, a few graves and an AMAZING gift shop. :)

my vespas... <3 <3 <3

so yeah, these are my weakness. only one runs currently. the minty green one (a 1966 125 GT). my bf has the purple one (a smallframe, 1971 vespa 90) pulled apart in the garage right now. the poor neglected red on (a 1964 vespa 90) is on the patio staring longingly at me every time i walk thru the kitchen... sigh...

well... i broke my damn phone yesterday.... GGGGRRRRRRRR... so now i can only see about the bottom quarter of the screen. i ordered one of those fancy google phones but who knows when it'll be here, so till then i'm stuck with a busted phone. but anyways... i did still manage to take this quick pic with my phone of two day of the dead miniquilts i did for some swapbot swaps. :)

Mutant bunnies attack...

i've been making these little monsters for the past few weeks and sending them out to various locations in north america... Mutant bunnies send holiday love. Or maybe they eat brains. I forget which. Maybe they'll take over soon. That would be RAD.

And for the record... Wearing a miami ink baseball hat totally blows any thug cred you think you have.

I really want a new aquarium. A big one. That is all.

This is 'princess' (bug named her). she's our sulcata. i've had her for about 5 years. She loves coming up to the sliding glass door to beg for goodies. :)

tiny monkeys!!

i've been obsessively making sock monkeys for about 6 or 7 months now... i keep finding myself making tiiiiny ones, like outta infant socks... this blue guy was about maybe 4" tall total... so so silly...

well, now i've gone and done it! after all of Jason (the King, as in Kingofalldrunks) and my (crystal, dixie, dixieofalldrunks, missxpistol) talking about how we need to educate the world... i decided to make us a blog. yesterday's trip to the flea market may have been the final straw... but we'll discuss that later... this will probably just end up being a place for me to post crafty whatnot... scooter silliness... and maybe jason will write about bacon on occaision (probably not)... so ummmm... yeah... here goes.
